What is GPMS License?

  This is the license which we purchased from Microsoft. This License is used to access MS Office tools. One License can be used for 8-10 Users.

  Here we observed that 1 License is being used by multiple users and once the limits is exceeded and if any other user tries to use the same License 1 existing user will be logged out automatically.

• Right now, we have 66 Licenses which are being used by 650

L1 Team Activity

    Now the L1 team is trying to remove the License for each User and alternatively they are providing MS office Standard Licenses.

Role of L0 Team

   Once Licenses are removed L0 may receive Calls/ tickets from User.

What should be done in such cases?

• L0 Executive should inform User that we have removed the GPMS Licenses.

• We have to take the remote session of the User’s machine and install Office 2019 Standard License.
• In addition, L0 team must support L1 team in finding the Users who are using GPMS License.
• If anyone requires MS Office 365 license, they should get an approval from finance team & CTM.
