When you are facing an issue with W-Fi connectivity, Please follow below steps to resolve the issue.


WIFI Troubleshooting:

  1. Check WIFI Adapter:
    • Ensure your WIFI adapter is enabled. Right-click on the Start menu, select "Device Manager."
    • Expand the "Network adapters" section and locate your WiFi adapter.
    • If it has a yellow exclamation mark or says "disabled," right-click and choose "Enable" or "Update driver" if an update is available.

1.1Restart Router and Computer:

  • Sometimes, restarting both your router and computer can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your router, wait for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

1.2Forget and Reconnect to WIFI Network:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WIFI.
  • Click on the WIFI network you're trying to connect to and select "Forget."
  • Reconnect to the Wi-Fi network by clicking on it again and entering the password.

1.3Check Airplane Mode:

  • Open Settings > Network & Internet > Airplane mode.
  • Ensure Airplane mode is turned off.
  • Run Network Troubleshooter:
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Select "Internet Connections" and run the troubleshooter.
  • Update Wi-Fi Adapter Driver:

Go back to Device Manager, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter, and select "Update driver."

Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and follow the prompts.

2) Bluetooth Troubleshooting:

  • Check Bluetooth Settings:
  • Open Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Restart Bluetooth:

Turn off Bluetooth, wait for a few seconds, and turn it back on.

  • Pair Devices Again:

If a device isn't connecting, remove it from the list of paired devices and try pairing it again.

  • Update Bluetooth Driver:

Similar to updating the Wi-Fi adapter driver, go to Device Manager, find your Bluetooth device under "Bluetooth," right-click, and select "Update driver."

  • Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

Select "Bluetooth" and run the troubleshooter.

  • Check for Interference:

Ensure there are no other devices or sources of interference (such as microwave ovens or cordless phones) near your Bluetooth device.

3.0) Additional Steps:

  • Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, updates fix connectivity issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  • Reset Network Settings: If all else fails, you can reset your network settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. Note that this will remove all network adapters and settings, including VPN connections.
